About | Taxi Law

Taxi Law was set up purely to concentrate on the taxi industry, to offer the legal advice and support required by both taxi drivers & operators within the ‘private hire’ and ‘hackney carriage’ trade.

We provide drivers and operators crucial advice and support services in order to allow them to concentrate on their business.

It is our sole aim to ensure each client has everything they require and to the highest possible standard, and it is what we have built our reputation on.

It was identified that the legal support required by both taxi drivers & operators within the ‘private hire’ and ‘hackney carriage’ trades was lacking.

Other firms were often found to be unaware of Local Authority regulations, local and national changes to legislation or the systems of appeals and submissions that are prescribed by the governing legislation.

We realise the impact and stress caused by the revocation of a licence, suspension of a license and or any enforcement action taken against you and the uncertainty it may cause drivers.

Our primary aim is to keep drivers on the road so they may continue to earn a living whilst ensuring they receive the very best professional representation.

We are confident in our ability to understand the requirements of our client drivers & operators.

Working closely with operators and drivers we have developed excellent working relationships with many Private Hire firms and individual drivers.

In these cases we have been able to offer other services including

  • financial accounting,
  • planning support and
  • business development solutions

We understand the nature of the business and with this in mind we offer out of hours appointments and a 24 hour telephone number thus ensuring drivers may access the information they require when it suits them.

We are proud to represent such a hard working community, we are happy to discuss any concerns or issues that you have and will always offer the very best advice and representation in working towards achieving a solution.
